Description Of Work:
They installed a radon remediation system, but while they were there, I mentioned that the basement often flooded in heavy rain. They found that my sump pump pipe out to the street was cracked and leaking into the crawlspace and they rerouted it for me for a very reasonable $100. I had water in my basement repeatedly prior to this and had been quoted as much as $10,000 by a basement waterproofer to solve the problem. Avanti’s logical evaluation of the situation found the very simple problem and corrected it very inexpensively.

EXCELLENT! The post-remediation Radon reading was in acceptable range, but perhaps even more importantly, it has been nearly a year since Angelo and his associate Rusty were here, and despite repeated very heavy rain, the basement has been completely dry. Many thanks for this extra work that has saved us much headache and money.

I recently moved into a new house in August and upon purchasing a radon monitor found that the levels of Radon during the winter months were elevated. My readings were up close to 5 pCi/L in the basement. I found Avanty on Angies list and was contacted within a day. Service was excellent. I was quoted a price over the phone and installation of the system was within a week or so. After the retest, we were down to around 1 pCi/L during the winter. The install of the system took maybe 2 hours and everything was explained well upon installation. Avanty is very reliable and effective company for Radon mitigation.

Description Of Work:
I used Avanty Construction Services to install a radon removal system in the basement. They set up a drainage system that comes from the basement floor through the outside of the house.

Old system bit the dust. Called Avanty Construction Services and w/i 5 days we had a new radon system installed. System was moved to another part of the house and the old system was removed. Very clean job and would highly recommend this company if you need radon services.

Angelo, (the owner) is really great! It’s a pleasure just working with him.
He replaced the fan to my existing Radon Mitigating system that he had installed ten years ago. He also replaced two sump pumps and sealed up all of the sump pumps.

He arrived at the established time and got right to work. He was very congenial, honest, and fair.
I would recommend him to anyone with a Radon problem.

I purchased a new home two years ago. This past year I tested my home and decided to have a radon remediation system installed. Although some might say that the radon levels were not of concern, I know: the lower the levels of radon, the less risk from exposure. There are no safe levels of radon. Having said all of this, I decided that remediation would provide me with peace of mind regardless of what was “theoretically” safe.
I looked on Angie’s list and accepted quotes from three radon remediators who all had A ratings and in the business for 20 years or more. One company provided me with a quote over the phone while looking at pictures of my home from a web-service. The second provided an on-site quote and suggested placing the exhaust fan in my attic. The third, Avanty Construction Services, “Angelo Bavetta”, provided an on-site quote but he and “Rusty” actually looked into my attic above my closet where the second quoter suggested. But due to the angle of the roof, there wasn’t sufficient room for the fan.
Angelo suggested numerous options for the placement of the fan an exhaust pipe. In the end, I went with Avanty and they placed the system in the least conspicuous location outside of my home. I watched every step they took, including cutting into my basement floor and into my foundation. It was obvious that they knew exactly what to do, since the process was done in an efficient and as neat as possible fashion. Avanty’s price was the best of all three quotes and I liked all the extras such as the gage that tells me if the fan is operating and the instructions and labeling on the system.
Avanty Construction Services provided me with peace of mind, when I consider the safety of my family and the air they breathe.

Great! Angelo was very transparent and honest about potential factors that could cost more money and problems we could encounter with the system, but everything went smoothly. He even gave us a radon test for after the radon system was installed- our level went from 5.1 to 2.7. We have duct work in our slab and Angelo reviewed risks associated with this. He was cordial, candid, honest, and knowledgeable. I would refer him to a friend.
